Kairo is an operating layer for your team's recurring work. It isn't a chatbot bolted onto a database - each solved ticket makes the next one cheaper, and boring, well-understood tasks graduate to running themselves while the judgment calls stay with a human.

File a ticket

Describe the task - a query, an analysis, a data-fix, a complaint, a reconciliation. It lands in the right workspace with a category and priority. You can also upload attachments; Kairo auto-categorizes them into review-ready knowledge cards in the background.

Kairo matches a playbook

A router matches your request against the playbook library by category, subcategory, and keywords. If a playbook exists, Kairo follows it. If not, it solves from first principles and builds the playbook interactively with you.

Context is retrieved - scoped to you

Kairo prefetches the most relevant context for this ticket: the matched playbook plus top hybrid-retrieved knowledge - keyword (FTS) and semantic (vector) search fused and ranked. Retrieval is hard-filtered to what your role and modules are allowed to see.

Kairo solves it, in the open

It drafts read-only SQL, runs it where permitted, records findings, and produces a clear deliverable - charts and tables for analysis tickets included. Every step is visible as it happens: what it fetched, what it produced, what it cost.

A human reviews & approves

You approve the result, correct it in chat, or approve a query before it runs. Writes are never auto-executed - Kairo drafts the write-SQL and a human runs anything that changes an external system. The chat stays open, so you can guide it mid-solve.

The system learns

Every solve distills the reusable lesson into the playbook and knowledge base, and proposes a maturity bump: draft → tested → automatable. Automatable means Kairo can safely handle that task type on its own next time.
